I Believe . . .

  • In Progressive Values and Ideas that apply Fiscal Discipline to achieve a Just, Vibrant and Environmentally Sustainable Civil Society.
  • That our Common Wealth should be used for the Common Good.
  • That individual achievement is the sum of hard work, opportunity, and luck.
  • That we are born good and become better with age and community.

Welcome to my digital notebook

I stared this blog to keep track and catalog things I find interesting on the Internet as well as ideas and concepts I want to remember and continue to explore. I've been journaling for years as a discipline to practice graphic recording (thank you David Sibbet) ... personal thoughts, work notes, project graphics, "To Do" lists, new business ideas, rants etc... But once I finish a journal and put it away, I hardly ever come back to it. And while I can "scrapbook" images and quotes from online sources, its impossible to cross reference and "hyperlink" in a paper notebook.

So I wanted a way to capture some of the bits and pieces to share with my future self and others in a searchable, sharable format - hey that's a Blog! And, I get to experiment with all kinds of interesting multi-media tools to synthesize, aggregate, and comment on all the amazing ideas out there on the web. We'll see how this evolves . . .
